The San Antonio Spurs hosted the Denver Nuggets on Sunday at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. It was the Spurs' third game of the preseason and the team celebrated their second victory (122-100) in front of a semi-sellout crowd. The Spurs finished the game shooting 57 percent from the field.

LaMarcus Aldridge shines for the Spurs

On Sunday's game, the Nuggets welcomed the first quarter of the game with a three-points shot from Harris. But, after Murray's driving floating jump shot, the Spurs outscore (4-3) the Nuggets until the end of the 1st quarter, 35-32.

The Nuggets was not able to bounce back in the second quarter, letting the Spurs to finished a halftime (66-54) with a 12-points lead.

When the 3rd quarter begun, the Nuggets tried to do well and scored more to beat the gap, until they're able to make a tie after eight minutes of the quarter at 76-76 and finished the 3rd quarter with just one point behind, 83-82. But the Spurs did not let their guard down and left an amazing final quarter game with 21 points lead, 39-18. The Spurs finished their game against the Nuggets with a victory 112-100 on Sunday.

Lamarcus Aldridge led the Spurs in score with 21 points in 31 minutes of game time. He shined that night for Spurs after he added eight rebounds, six assists, and one block.

He made 9-of-16 field goal attempts and made one three-pointer. Aldridge will get loads of playing time this upcoming season and his fans can only expect more from him.

Bryn Forbes was the second highest contributor of points to the winning team with 20 points in 17 minutes off the bench. He registered a shooting percentage of 64 percent, making 7-of-11 field goal attempts and 80 percent, making 4-of-5 three-points shots.

Rudy Gay contributed 11 points as well as Danny Green. Danny Green was prepared to score 20 points when he led the Spurs to win in their previous game against the Sacramento Kings but not on Sunday's game.

Paul Milsap with 100 percent shooting from free throw line

Despite Nikola Jokic efforts in leading the Nuggets in points and rebounds on Sunday, it is not enough to win over the Spurs.

Nikola contributed 19 points in 24 minutes of game time and added seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block. He shot at a percentage of 54 from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line, making 4-of-4 free throw attempts.

On the other hand, Paul Millsap amazed the Denver Nuggets fans with his perfect nine free throw shots. He scored 13 points and added seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.

Will Barton, Gary Harris, and Mason Plumlee also contributed double-digit points to the Nuggets. Will Barton scored 16 points while Garry Harris had 15 points. Mason contributed 11 points in his 20 minutes of play time and registered four rebounds and two assists.
