NBA trade rumors seem to be swirling around the Phoenix Suns. It was not long that they wanted to strike a deal for Kyrie Irving, but unfortunately, the Cleveland Cavaliers were not interested in shifting Irving to the Suns. Now it seems that they could have all assets to get a hold of the New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis.

The Phoenix Suns need to build up their team before the upcoming 2017-18 NBA season. There is no secret that the Suns have had a tough time in the past and their fans are eagerly waiting for them to have a turnaround. Given the present situation, it seems that they do not have an easy way out from the Western Conference.

Will Anthony Davis be the change for the Suns?

There is no doubt that Anthony Davis is an outstanding player, he has the potential, the power, and the speed. If the Suns are ready to strike a deal with the New Orleans Pelicans for Davis, they could make their team much stronger. The Suns may have the assets, but it also depends on the Pelicans what they need in return.

Looking at the Pelicans standpoint, they will not be ready to let go of Davis unless they get a two or three player deal. Phoenix will need to make sure they involve other players in the deal when the approach the Pelicans. As for Anthony Davis, he might just fit perfectly well with the Suns.

Phoenix will need to establish their young stars

The Suns will need to make some changes if they need to get back on track in the NBA league. The best option they have is their young guys on the team, but they will also need a player to support to growing star Devin Booker. According to Lucas Johnson from the Valley of the Suns, Anthony Davis will be the perfect person to support Devin Booker.

The chance of making the trade possible is a bit slim. The moment the New Orleans Pelicans make an announcement that Davis is up for a trade, Phoenix will not be the only team in the NBA trying to acquire him. There will be a list of teams trying to strike a deal with the Pelicans.

The Phoneix Suns will need to seize the opportunity when it's available.

Once Davis is available for a trade most of the teams will at least make an offer for the 24-year-old power forward. That said, the Boston Celtis will also be one of the teams on the list. The Celtics are emerging as a super-team, and their general manager Danny Ainge will not leave the opportunity for Anthony Davis.

As of now, the Suns will try their best to make some moves for Anthony Davis. On the other hand, they will probably consider all their assets and make the best of them.
