Recently, in the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Kurt Angle announced the return of John Cena in Raw. Cena claimed that he came to WWE Raw for facing a particular superstar and suddenly the music of Roman Reigns hit and he made an entry towards the ring. Cena and Roman Reigns were face to face in the ring where Roman claimed it to be his yard and Cena in return kept smiling. Everyone was so thrilled in the WWE Universe as they thought they were about to see John Cena and Roman Reigns collide.

The moment when everybody thought that it would be a collision between Cena and Reigns, The Miz interrupted both of them and came to the ring claiming that they get enough spotlight which they don't deserve.

He was joined by Samoa Joe who targeted Reigns and attacked Cena in the ring without uttering a word. The question remains about Cena that what exactly has he returned for?

Cena is a legend

John Cena is a 16-time world champion and has tied to the record of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. John has had great rivalries with Triple H, Shawn Michael, Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Kurt Angle and others. Cena has also wrestled with big powerhouses like Big Show, The Great Khali, Umaga, Mark Henry and others. John Cena is a legendary wrestler in WWE who has been here for over 15 years now. The reaction from the crowd towards Cena is always biased, while half of them love him, the other half hate him but they all react towards him.

This is the reason why John Cena is the most polarizing superstar of the WWE.

Is Roman Reigns the next John Cena of WWE?

Looking to the reaction Roman Reigns gets from the WWE Universe, it can be assumed that he may be the next John Cena of WWE as the universe is as polarized in case of Roman Reigns as it is in case of John Cena.

Roman Reigns has recently retired the Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 and the match was the highly talked about match where he came out victorious and defeated the Undertaker.

Reigns made his main roster television debut as in 2012 at Survivor Series alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, assaulting Ryback during the triple threat main event for the WWE Championship, allowing CM Punk to retain the title.

After the dissolution of "The Shield" in June 2014, Reigns was quickly inserted into world title contention. He has main evented three continuous Wrestlemania against Brock Lesnar, Triple H and Undertaker. This is the reason why he claims to be "The Big Dog".
