Top Summerslam memories

Last year, Randy Orton made his return to the ring after suffering from a career threatening injury at Summerslam.

He faced Brock Lesnar in a match where Brock left him bleeding in the end.

In 2013, there was a WWE Championship match between John Cena (champion) and Daniel Bryan with Triple H as the special guest referee at Summerslam. Bryan defeated John Cena to become the new WWE champion. Bryan's victory could not even last for five minutes as Triple H pedigreed Daniel Bryan and Orton cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to take Daniel's Championship.

That was the time when Triple H formed the faction "Authority."

In 2009, there was a TLC match between CM Punk and Jeff Hardy at Summerslam. The rivalry between Jeff and Punk was an intense rivalry as Punk started targeting some serious issues of "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff such as drug addiction.

In 2005, when Shawn Michaels collided with Hulk Hogan at Summerslam, it was said to be a "Legend Vs Icon" match. Shawn Michaels became the icon of WWF when Hogan went to WCW. It was interesting to see the clash of two egos. Hogan emerged victorious which was not liked by Michaels, and hence he super kicked Hogan after the match got over.

So these were some of the best matches in the past 10-12 years that happened at Summerslam.
