Recently in a match between Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton at WWE Battleground, The Great Khali returned to stop Orton from winning the match. Randy Orton was able to surpass all the barriers created by Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers in the match until The Great Khali returned to the WWE and surprised everyone. The Great Khali took away his chance of regaining the lost WWE championship belt.
Rivalry with Jinder Mahal
Ever since Jinder Mahal became the number one contender for the WWE championship, he has been able to dominate Randy Orton in some way or another.
He was strengthened by his two supporters, The Singh Brothers, who previously used to work on "205 Live." The Singh Brothers have always been successful in taking cheap shots against Randy to help Mahal.
In his first WWE title shot, Jinder managed to win the WWE championship for the first time. Then, in Orton's rematches, Mahal with The Singh Brothers by his side, has managed to retain the title. Recently in the Punjabi Prison match for the WWE Championship, Randy Orton was about to win the match when he was climbing the second cage but The Great Khali arrived. Khali came and blocked his exit before grabbing Randy by the neck so that Jinder Mahal was able to climb the cage and retain the title successfully again.
Legendary career
Randy Orton has been in WWE for 15 years now. The first belt that he won was over Rob Van Dam in 2003 for the Intercontinental Championship. After that, he won the World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam 2004 in a match against Chris Benoit. He held the record of being the youngest world champion at the age of 24.
Since then, Randy has had an amazing career in WWE. He has been involved in some great rivalries with John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Batista, CM Punk, Undertaker and more. He in his early years, he was known as "The Legend Killer" but now he is simply "The Viper."
Will the Viper strike back?
This man is known for taking revenge.
He has always been able to successfully take revenge against people who get in his way. This time, he has The Great Khali in front of him. A few years ago, both of them were involved in a one-on-one match which was not a huge match at some pay-per-view but took place on a weekly show. The Viper was able to pin The Great Khali by giving him his finisher - the RKO. Since Khali has returned after three years and got in Orton's way by costing him his WWE title, Randy may not let him go so easily without taking any revenge.
