When it comes to NBA trade options, the Cleveland Cavaliers seem to be the most patient. The Cavs have been waiting for their best offer for their All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving. It turns out that various teams have been offering the Cavs with trade deals. But they might be having something else on their mind.

The reason why NBA trade rumors are continuing to swirl around Irving is that he is a top player. The 25-year-old NBA superstar has already proved himself to be a potential player. With all the options available on the table for Irving, the Boston Celtis and Phoenix Suns have also been rumored to pursue a trade with the Cavs.

The Miami Heat also tried their luck for Kyrie Irving

Apparently, six teams have approached the Cavaliers for a trade. Out of which, the Miami Heat has agreed to offer two of their stars Justise Winslow and Goran Dragic. It came as a surprise to many of the NBA fans that the Heat was ready to part ways with two stars just to acquire Irving.

However, the Cavs might not seem to be interested in Dragic or Winslow at the moment. Looking at the Cavaliers standpoint, they will not settle for something moderate, especially for Kyrie Irving. Now that many teams have the demand for their point guard, the Cavs know their advantage as they still have the option to go back to Miami if required.

The Cavs and Miami striking a deal is not certain

The Cleveland Cavaliers need a centerpiece, and the Miami Heat had just given them that offer. But many believe that the history between both these teams will blow up the options of a trade. If the Heat had given more options, maybe the Cavs would have considered. But the chances are very less because Miami is limited with their sources and that includes draft picks.

Kyrie Irving had opted for Miami Heat as one of the teams for his preference. Irving is ready to take the next step forward in his career, but the Cavs do not seem to be considering any of his preferences. In a recent interview at the Miami Heat summer camp, Justise Winslow stated that Irving had done a lot for his role with the Cavs.

"He's almost kind of maximized that role, and I think that's kind of the point that he's got go," Winslow said.

With all the rumors swirling around Irving, at the end of the day, the Cavs are the ones to pull the trigger on the trade deal. Given all their options, it is believed that the Boston Celtics and the Phoenix Suns are the two potential teams which could acquire Kyrie Irving.
