The NBA Summer League 2017 Las Vegas results for Saturday included quarterfinals action from the single-elimination tournament. Among the featured teams were the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Los Angeles Lakers. Among the featured young stars were Dennis Smith Jr., Yogi Ferrell, and Lonzo Ball. Here's a look at the latest scores and results, as well as a bracket update for the semifinals round in Las Vegas.

Saturday's winners

Two perfect 4-0 teams in Vegas play met up as the Boston Celtics faced the Dallas Mavericks. However, Jayson Tatum and Jayley Brown would once again sit this one out due to their respective injuries.

The Celtics got a combined 32 points from their bench players Rosco Allen, Scott Wood, and Terran Petteway, but not much from anyone else. Meanwhile, Yogi Ferrell shot 7-for-12 including 4-of-8 from downtown to lead the Mavs to the 91-74 win with 20 points. Rookie Dennis Smith Jr. was quiet as he played just 15 minutes and was held to three points on 1-for-6 shooting.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat went to double overtime to settle their quarterfinals game. In the end, it was a 98-95 victory over the Heat, thanks to Wayne Selden's 24 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Wade Baldwin IV added 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Miami Heat sat rookie Bam Adebayo for the game as well as Okaro White.

Gian Clavell led the team with 20 points off the bench, including a 5-for-12 rate from three-point range.

The Trail Blazers eliminated the Spurs (in Summer League), 94-87. J Layman finished with 23 points, while fellow starters Swanigan and Hunter had 16 points each. Swanigan was also one rebound shy of a double-double for his night.

For the losing side, San Antonio got 20 points off the bench from Derrick White.

The nightcap game featured No. 2 overall pick Lonzo Ball trying to lead the Lakers' Summer League squad to the semifinals. Ball and Los Angeles took on the Brooklyn Nets with the Lakers outlasting their opponents for an 115-106 victory. Ball didn't record a triple-double but had 14 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, to come quite close to it.

Teammate Kyle Kuzma continued his hot Summer League showing, as he led the team with 26 points on 10-for-19 shooting.

The Nets' Caris LeVert finished with 23 points to lead all scorers, while Spencer Dinwiddie contributed 22. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson achieved a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds in the losing effort.

Semifinals round

The four teams have advanced to the semifinals round in Las Vegas with games set to take place on Sunday, July 16th. The NBA Summer League Las Vegas Championship game will take place on Monday to crown this year's top team.

In the semifinal matchup bracket, it's No. 16 seed Portland taking on No. 4 seed Memphis. In the other matchup, the No. 3 seed Dallas Mavericks will play the No. 15 seed L.A. Lakers. The winners of these two games meet in the Championship game on Monday.
