Kyrie Irving's trade demand is the hottest story in the NBA right now as the point guard wants to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and join another team. According to reports, Irving doesn't want to be overshadowed by LeBron James and he wants to be the first option on a team. Since the Cavaliers are LeBron's team, Irving realizes that he has to go somewhere else if he wants to be the best player.

Irving reportedly told the Cavaliers where he would like to be traded to. One of the teams the point guard wants to play for is the Miami Heat, and it seems there is mutual interest between these two sides.

However, chances of this trade happening are very slim because of the Heat-Cavaliers history.

Even though the situation is not perfect, if Kyrie Irving wants to leave the team, the Cavaliers will most likely let him do so. He is obviously unhappy in Cleveland and it won't be surprising if the Cavaliers end up trading him for less valuable pieces. Keeping the point guard on the team doesn't make much sense if he's not willing to stay in Cleveland.

Miami Heat's trade offer for Kyrie Irving

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that the Miami Heat are willing to trade two players to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kyrie. LeBron James' former team would reportedly trade Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow for Irving.

Earlier reports indicate that the Cavaliers are looking for a young and talented player, so Winslow would be a great piece for them. He will be entering his third year and is expected to have a breakout season after suffering a season-ending injury last year. Winslow is a great defender and if he develops his offensive game and a jump shot, he can be a fantastic two-way player.

Beside him, Cleveland would get a suitable replacement for Kyrie Irving. Even though Goran Dragic is older, he can still play well and he's very efficient. Dragic can play as either a point guard or a shooting guard, so he could run the floor for the Cavaliers but also share it with Derrick Rose or another playmaker.

This would be a win-win situation for both teams

By trading Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow to the Cavaliers, the Heat would get a superstar in Kyrie Irving. While Hassan Whiteside and Dragic are amazing players, they are not true superstars and Miami needs more in order to be competitive.

On the other side, the Cavaliers would get a decent replacement for Irving in Dragic and they'd get a great young defender in Justise Winslow.
