In less than a year, LeBron James will become a Free Agent. James has a player option on his contract for 2018/19 season and he will most likely decide to opt out and test free agency once again. Cleveland Cavaliers might lose their best player once again, just like they did in 2010. However, the fans are hoping that LeBron will stay in Cleveland and finish his career as a Cavalier.

According to Sam Amick of USA Today, the superstar small forward could easily leave Cleveland if he can win it all somewhere else. "James can become a free agent following the 2017-18 season, and it doesn't take a wild imagination to see him elsewhere - especially if he feels there's a better opportunity for him to win a championship with another team."

While there have been a lot of rumors about James going to Los Angeles and joining the Lakers next summer, another team could acquire the four-time MVP.

Just like the Lakers, this team is young and would benefit tremendously from LeBron's presence. This team is the Philadelphia 76ers and you shouldn't count them out when it comes to LeBron James' next destination.

Why the Sixers?

Philadelphia 76ers have some young and amazing players on their roster, plus they have enough cap space to give LeBron a huge contract. Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz are all incredible, and James would turn the Sixers into a championship contender.

Choosing the Sixers over the Lakers would be an easy choice considering the conferences these two teams are in. If you put LeBron James on the Sixers roster, there's a good chance the team would reach the NBA Finals immediately.

On the other side, the Lakers would struggle to make it to the final stage, even with the four-time MVP.

Philadelphia will spend only $41.2 million on their players for 2018/19 season and they will have over $60 million to bring Embiid back and sign a superstar. Considering that James would be surrounded by great young players and that he would get paid a lot at the same time, it wouldn't be surprising if he decides to take his talents to Philadelphia next summer.

The Sixers want LeBron

Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have already started recruiting LeBron James and they made it known they'd want the King to be on their team. Just recently, the four-time MVP worked out with Simmons.

Last night, the Sixers forward tweeted to LeBron James.

While this may not be anything significant, it is clear that the Sixers are giving their best to be on James' mind, so it won't be surprising if he considers joining them next year.

With a great roster, plenty of cap space and LeBron James, the Philadelphia 76ers would immediately become a championship contender. You can't blame LeBron if he decides to sign with them!
