The WWE rumors are heating up with regards to "The Boss" Sasha Banks possibly being part of a match at "Extreme Rules" 2017 pay-per-view. The former WWE Women's Champion on "Raw" has been out of the title picture but involved in a recent feud with Alicia Fox. This may lead to a matchup involving Banks against Fox in a mixed gender tag team bout. Here are the latest rumors of this potential match at "Extreme Rules" and what to expect.

Rumored PPV match

As Sportskeeda recently reported, Sasha Banks came out on top in a recent match between she and Alicia Fox. However, the "Raw" match also saw Noam Dar provide enough distraction after Sasha's win to allow his girl Alicia Fox to put down Banks with a scissors kick. That was enough to keep this latest feud going between the two "Raw" women's division superstars.

The Sportskeeda site also mentioned that Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer suggested WWE may team up Banks with "205 Live" competitor Cedric Alexander. He had been out of action for a while due to a knee injury back in late February, but just recently made his big return to the "205 Live" program which is exclusively on the WWE Network.

The duo of Sasha Banks and Cedric Alexander could end up taking on Noam Dar and Alicia Fox in a mixed tag team match somewhere on the WWE "Extreme Rules" card. These matches involve a rule where if a member of one gender is tagged in, then their opponent must be of the same gender. That means if Noam Dar makes a tag to Alicia Fox to get away from Cedric Alexander, then Sasha Banks must also be tagged in.

Predictions for match

This sort of match could work out well as a WWE "Extreme Rules: Kickoff Show" type match. It would be a free giveaway for fans ahead of the main pay-per-view. Sasha is a popular superstar so including her somewhere on the card makes sense. This match might even do something to help boost the profiles of the "205 Live" competitors Noam Dar and Cedric Alexander.

An expected winner in this match is easily Sasha Banks and Cedric Alexander. It's one of those matches that wouldn't really do much to help any of the superstars' resumes or hurt any pushes since there aren't really any going on for them. So this would be one of those "as expected" matches on the "Kickoff Show" where fans already know what they'll be getting in advance.

WWE's "Extreme Rules" 2017 pay-per-view will take place on Sunday, June 4th at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. An announcement of this particular match could come as early as Monday night on WWE "Raw" and possibly carry over onto the "205 Live" program the next night.
