The newest teaser trailer for "Injustice 2" brings allows us to get an extended look at what Supergirl is going to be bringing to the table. Unlike her famous cousin, Supergirl has not been seduced by the dark side (or Darkseid) but will instead be fighting for the good guys.
This new trailer not only shows us a bit more backstory to Kara Zor-El but shows off what she can do in combat. It turns out that Supergirl lives up to her name. It appears it's not going to be very easy to take down this particular Kryptonian.
Part of 'Injustice 2' Shattered Alliances trailers
Supergirl makes her official debut in this trailer as part of the larger Shattered Alliance series. This trailer series goes deeper into how the second game in the "Injustice" series came to be and what forced the heroes and villains to once again be doing battle. Superman is still someone that should absolutely be feared, as all three trailers show, but there are other fighters who are looking to make things right again including his little cousin.
Supergirl will be taking on some rather super enemies as she fights for the good guys. It looks like she'll also be taking on the big bad from the original "Injustice" and hopefully she can eventually recruit him to the right side.
'You either make the right choice, or I'll make it for you.'
The story of "Injustice 2" will pick up where the first "Injustice" leaves off. This means there is still plenty to clean up for the good guys, including Superman who appears to want to do the right thing. The problem with his approach is that he is becoming increasingly totalitarian.
One such discussion between Superman and Supergirl has her trying to convince him he's veered off course. In return, he eventually tells her, "you either make the right choice, or I'll make it for you." The new trailer shows off just how hard some fo the good guys are working to turn the tide in a brand new battled. "Injustice 2" hosted a beta earlier this year for special gamers. The game is going to be releasing for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 16.
