LaVar Ball, son of UCLA freshman star Lonzo Ball, has been in the news recently for his sometimes confident proclamations about himself and his sons. He decided to make his most recent comment on LeBron James and his sons, saying the pressure off LeBron's greatness will be the downfall of his kids. LeBron wasn't too happy to hear Ball's comments, and he issued him a warning when talking about his family.

Watch how you speak

LeBron James has been a name in the news for the past few days. (When isn't he is in the news?) He was at the center of the most recent discussion of resting players when he and the Cavs big 3 sat out against the Clippers in a nationally televised game.

It caused quite the stir, but LeBron shrugged it off, saying players will need their rest. But when you speak about his family, he won't let that go as when he was asked about Lavar Ball's comments towards his sons he said: "Keep my kids' name out of your mouth, keep my family out of your mouth" also adding "This is dad to dad. It's a problem now."

Lavar Ball was on Chris Broussard's "In the Zone with Chris Broussard" podcast. He explained how it's easier for his kids, Lonzo, Eli Angelo, and Lamela to have success in the NBA compared to James' kids due to their dad's success. He says "You got LeBron, it's going to be hard for his kids because they are going to look at them like, 'You got to be just like your dad.' And after a while, that pressure starts sitting on you like, 'Why do I get to be just like him?

What can't I just be me?' And then they are going to be like, 'Aw, you're soft, you're not that good.' Because the expectation is very, very high." (ESPN).

LeBron's sons Lebron Jr. and Bryce are playing well on the AAU circuit, and Lebron "Bronny" Jr. already has verbal scholarships from Duke and Kentucky. That was reported by ESPN last summer.

While Lonzo is already excelling at UCLA, his brothers will be attending UCLA as well, as they already committed to the school. Both of the father's sons are set up for success early, as they have the skills to make it all the way.

This isn't the first time

Lavar Ball has only made headlines in the news because of his comments about some issues in the NBA and college game.

He first started off by saying his son Lonzo is better than Stephen Curry. Curry is a two-time MVP and is an automatic three-point shooter. Many people were shocked by these comments, but this is just a confident Dad speaking about his son. He also said that he would be able to "kill" Michael Jordan in a one-on-one match in their primes. It's hard to believe as Lavar Ball had no NBA career and only averaged 2.2 points per game at Washington University.

Many members of the media believe this will harm his son Lonzo's draft stock, but it hasn't as of now. He is a sure-fire lottery pick, as he has led his Bruins to a sweet 16 appearance. Lavar's outspoken character has been a part of him for a long time as his sons explain, and this isn't just for media attention.

Lavar is just your typical dad, speaking confidence in his son, the only difference is there is a microphone in his face.

LeBron is a fan of Lonzo and likes his game. But he has the issue with his dad's comments about his sons and doesn't want it to happen again saying "He can talk all about his brand, talk about his sons, speak of basketball, talk about me, but keep my family out of this." (ESPN). Has Lavar Ball finally awoken the sleeping bear, and will he watch his mouth from now on? Only time will tell.
