When Super Bowl Sunday 2017 arrives, there will be plenty of celebrations around the nation, as sports fans, and even those who aren't normally sports fans, witness the latest edition of the big game. The NFL Playoffs have yielded several top contender teams, two of which will meet for the ultimate prize - the Vince Lombardi trophy. As of right now, three of the remaining quarterbacks in the playoff picture have all captured Super Bowl rings before.

Will one of them rise again to claim this year's championship, or will a new QB take the prize? Here's the latest information on when Super Bowl Sunday 2017 will take place for the NFL championship game on TV or live stream.

Possible Super Bowl match-ups?

As of this report, four teams were remaining the NFL playoff picture. In the AFC Championship Game, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots were the No. 1 seed and will play Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers, the No. 3 seed. The Steelers won a close match-up over the No. 2 AFC seed Kansas City Chiefs in order to advance. The Patriots won a bit easier, claiming a double-digit win over the Houston Texans.

With home field advantage again, many analysts believe the Pats are the team to beat.

Meanwhile, the NFC Championship Game will feature a battle involving Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers against Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are in the hunt thanks to defeating the Seattle Seahawks in an impressive offensive performance. Rodgers came up with a big throw down field late to set up a game-winning touchdown against the No. 1 seeded Dallas Cowboys. All of that sets up what could be a high-scoring game in Atlanta.

That leaves potential for several Super Bowl matchups this year. One match-up could feature the Packers vs. Patriots in a battle of two of the game's top QBs. Another potential game would be Patriots vs.

Falcons. Or the Steelers could meet the Packers or Falcons, giving Big Ben another shot at the trophy. Meanwhile, Atlanta's Matt Ryan remains the only quarterback of the four in the playoffs without that championship ring.
