On Sunday, the Packers vs. Cowboys televised and live streaming NFL Playoff game will highlight a doubleheader of postseason Football action. These two teams battled earlier in the season with the No. 1 seed Dallas Cowboys victorious, but towards the end of the season, Green Bay has been on a major hot streak. Can the two rookies for the Cowboys guide them to the NFC Championship game, or will Aaron Rodgers prove that he still has what it takes to get playoff wins?
Here's a look at what time and TV channel the Packers vs. Cowboys live NFL game is on, as well as live stream viewing information.
Is Dallas the team to beat?
The Cowboys have been juggernauts this past season with an impressive 13-3 record through the season. The good news for them is that the only team to have beaten them twice all season, the New York Giants, self-destructed against the Packers in the Wild Card round. The bad news is that the Packers seem to be one of the hottest teams in the league.
However, Dallas was able to defeat Green Bay earlier in the season, showing they found a way to win. That game took place at Lambeau Field where Dak Prescott threw for three touchdowns to help his team to the 30-16 win. His fellow rookie, running back Ezekiel Elliott, had a game with 28 carries and 157 yards for no touchdowns, and has continued to be a dominant force on the ground all season.
Dallas also held Green Bay to just 78 yards of rushing, forced three fumbles, and picked off Aaron Rodgers once in the game. While that performance was great, it was earlier in the season and it seems the Packers are surging when it counts most.
Green Bay's hot streak
After losing to the Cowboys in that earlier game, Green Bay looked like a losing cause as they went just 1-4 following the loss.
However, they turned thing around at just the right time in an effort to run the table and reach the playoffs. The Packers won their final six games of the season and then put on an impressive 38-13 rout of the New York Giants in last weekend's Wild Card round.
In the win over the Giants, Rodgers had 362 yards and four touchdowns on 25-of-40 completed passes.
That included a magical 42-yard Hail Mary pass before the end of the first half to add a touchdown from Randall Cobb. For the game, Davonte Adams led all receivers with 125 yards on eight catches and also had one touchdown in the win.
Now Green Bay will look to avenge their earlier season loss to Dallas. It seems that experience is certainly on the side of the visitors as they have one of the best quarterbacks in the game today looking to lead them to the next round.
