Adam Newman has only been back in Genoa City a short time, and he has managed to stir up much controversy among his family and other associates. This week on "The Young and the Restless" Victor's prodigal son is about to get a dose of his own medicine, by finding out that the woman he was married to and going to leave town with just before the explosion has remarried. She has also allowed her new husband to adopt Conner. This will be a shock to viewers who have been expecting an immediate Chadam reunion, This does not, however, indicate that the couple will not find their way back to each other sometime in the future.
Adam keeps trouble brewing on 'Y&R'
Soap Dirt spoilers say that this week on "The Young and the Restless" Adam and a drunken Phyllis may disrupt Billy and Victoria's commitment ceremony. Previews for the Monday episode show Nick and Victoria's brother asking Phyllis to assist him in wreaking havoc on Genoa City. Adam plans to take Christian away from his brother and to oust his sister from Newman Enterprises. He is also actively seeking Chloe, and if she is found this will bring additional drama.
All the trouble that Adam is causing is about to come back on him in a big way. He wants to take Christian from the only father he has ever known
It's only natural that Chelsea would move on with her life because she believed Adam was dead.
"The Young and the Restless" has yet to explain, however, why Ms. Lawson left Nick high and dry. Spoiler alerts have suggested for quite a while that perhaps Chadam had reunited off-screen, but now viewers realize this is not what happened. There is no 2ay to know at this point, whether Adam will hook up with Sharon, reunite with Chelsea or even start a relationship with Phyllis.
Connecting the dots on 'Y&R'
The new writing team on "The Young and the Restless" is making a lot of changes and bringing back familiar faces to Genoa City. They have not yet made it clear to viewers what the end result will be. One thing that is certain is that no good can come from Adam and Phyllis teaming up or revenge. At this point, loyal fans can connect a few dots as far as Victor's namesake is concerned.
On Friday Adam dreamed he was making out with Sharon, which indicates he does have some feelings for her. This may be a signal from the "Y&R" writers that there will be no real Shadam connection and Sharon will remain with Rey.
Chelsea, however, is the mother of his son and his former wife. Its possible sparks might fly when they see each other again. Phyllis and Adam's business arrangement could turn into a hook-up or two but probably nothing lasting. Be on the lookout for spoiler alerts to update what's coming up next.
