Recent episodes showed him going back to the Dominican Republic and obviously enjoying the company of another woman. TV Shows Ace noted that Chantel talked to her parents as she thinks going over there and confronting him could help save her marriage. However, in real life, Chantel's across in Ecuador and there's no sign of Pedro in her photos.
'The Family Chantell' spinoff comes in July, so maybe '90 Day Fiance' couple Pedro and Chantel survive their problems
With TLC announcing the new spinoff for the couple, in a way it spoiled the current "90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?" show. All the fans know that Chantel's mom Karen's got little time for Pedro. In fact, the couple got a huge following after the fight between her brother River and Pedro last year. Now, the TLC spinoff synopsis says Pedro and Chantel have weathered major marital ups and downs involving everything from feisty family members to their own trust issues.
In the upcoming spinoff, they explain that everyone tries "to move past their differences and come together as an extended family." However, as per usual, "Chantel’s parents Karen and Thomas try to protect their brood.
Could they push their children too far?" In conclusion, we're told that "family members featured in the upcoming series include Chantel’s parents Karen and Thomas and siblings River and Winter, as well as Pedro’s mother Lidia and sister Nicole."
Chantel's in Ecuador in real life and nope, no sign of Pedro in her photos
The thing with Reality TV shows like "90 Day Fiance" and "The Family Chantel" spinoff is that it's filmed back in time.
What's happing in real time may differ vastly from what we see on the show. So, we can't really say everything works out in the long term for Pedro and Chantel. Presently, following Chantel on Instagram reveals she's in Ecuador. Out and about with friends, she looks like she's really enjoying the place but no photos of Pedro show up.
Some fans asked her where she was in one photo. Meanwhile, someone else recognized the landmark. Her recent post, June 1, showed her looking very attractive, posing in a cathedral. She captioned it with, "I never weary of great churches." Chantel adds that it's "[her] favorite kind of mountain scenery." She also noted that "Mankind was never so happily inspired as when it made a cathedral."
Chantel's not there for a vacation
As soon as one follower saw the cathedral, she knew Chantel was in Ecuador. Of course, on the "90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?" show, as she said she intended to travel to the Dominican Republic to confront Pedro, people assumed she was there. So, it came as a surprise to know she's in a different country altogether.
When pressured by her fans to say why she's in Ecuador, Chantel revealed that she's there as part of her "studies."
Fans of the show know she studies nursing at college. So, it seems like some fieldwork studies in Ecuador keep her busy at the moment. Chantel's mom and dad grew angry that she met and married Pedro while still studying at college. If he's still with her in real life hopefully he got and kept a job to help support his wife while she qualifies for a real job.
