"The Young and the Restless" will be decreasing the Rosales family by three, when Arturo, Mia, and the unborn baby leave town, but Rey and Lola won't be lonely for long. The two remaining siblings will find that mother Celeste will soon be in Genoa City and more than likely meddle in their love lives. Actress Eva LaRue has been cast as the matriarch of the family and will begin filming scenes the week of May 20-24. The first airdate for this talented actress will be around June 26 and she may just find love and romance in her new town. She is rumored to be a possible love interest for Jack, which will no doubt infuriate Phyllis.

Celeste Rosales will be a handful in Genoa City

"Y&R" spoilers from Soap Dirt suggests that Celeste may be a love interest for Jack, who was recently burned by Kerry. This may cause problems with Phyllis who is always jealous when her former lovers move on. Ms. Summers spent much time trying to sabotage the relationship between Billy and Victoria but tolerated Kerry who she believed to be an ally. Had she known Ms. Johnson was going to stab her in the back, she might have kept her guard up.

Billy gave Phyllis the money to start up her own company, and she promised to leave him and Vicki alone. She is now angry that Jack would not help her launch her own business. Interfering with his romantic life would be a good way to get revenge.

Earlier spoiler alerts have suggested that Jack may reunite with Phyllis or begin a romance with Lauren. If Soap Dirt is correct and starts a relationship with Celeste Rosales, he would be involved with his son's girlfriend's mother. Whatever she is up to, Eva LaRue's character sounds like she will be a handful in Genoa City.

Eva LaRue is a soap veteran

Longtime soap fans know that Eva LaRue is no stranger to daytime television.

She portrayed Dr. Maria Santos on the now-defunct ABC drama "All My Children." The veteran actress will be a welcome addition to "The Young and the Restless" and her character Celeste will no doubt micromanage her children, whether she has a relationship with Jack Abbott or not. Viewers will be eager to find out if Celeste is a loving mother or a control freak.

Is she rooted and grounded in love for her children or a social climbing pariah like her daughter in law Mia?

Will Lola and Rey be glad she came to Genoa City or wish she would go away. Find out by being on the lookout for spoiler alerts to update what Celeste is all about.
