Spoiler alerts tease that there may be more actors leaving "General Hospital" to be a part of "The Young and the Restless." Tristen Rogers has gone between the two shows for decades, portraying Robert Scorpio in Port Charles, and Colin Atkinson in Genoa City. Michelle Stafford left her "Y&R" role as Phyllis to portray Nina on "GH," and now she is set to reverse this decision and return to her old stomping ground. Billy Miller and Elizabeth Hendrickson later followed her lead and may possibly do the same once more. Brytni Sarpy recently joined the CBS soap as Elena, after portraying Valerie on the ABC daytime drama.

Jason Thompson used to be Patrick Drake on "GH" and now is Billy on *Y&R." Any one of these actors may jump ship again.

Actors may abandon ‘GH’ and return to ‘Y&R’

Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that Elizabeth Hendrickson. and Billy Miller and may follow Brytni Sarpy and Michelle Stafford to "The Young and the Restless," while Jason Thompson may leave Genoa City to return to "General Hospital." This is all speculation but certainly within the realm of possibility. Neither Margo nor Drew is really involved in a meaty storyline right now. CDL points out that Miller has been sidelined ever since Steve Burton left Dillon behind to return to the role of Jason.

This situation gets so confusing that some viewers continue to call the characters by the name they used on their previous daytime drama.

Of all the comings and goings, the one getting the most mileage right now is Michelle Stafford's leaving "GH" to reprise her "Y&R" role as Phyllis because Gina Tognoni was fired. As of this date, there has been no reason given why Tognoni was released from that role,

From ‘Y&R’ to ‘GH’ for others

Soap Dirt indicates that during the next two weeks Phyllis will be helping Summer deal with her arranged marriage to Kyle.

Without any indication of when to expect Michelle Stafford back, "Y&R" fans may simply notice Gina Tognoni on screen one day and gone the next. If Jason Thompson leaves his role as Billy, he may become Patrick Drake again on "GH" which would indicate Robin and Emma coming back to Port Charles. With Adam Newman returning to Genoa City, Chloe is no longer a murderer so Elizabeth Hendrickson could possibly resurrect that character.

Now that Jill and Colin have gone their separate ways, Tristan Rogers will more than likely remain on "General Hospital" as Robert Scorpio. There are so many comings and goings that viewers need a scorecard to keep up. The best thing to do is be on the lookout for updates spoilers and continue watching these two daytime dramas. "The Young and the Restless" airs weekday afternoons on CBS at 12:30 PM EST. Catch "GH" Monday through Friday at 2:00 PM EST on ABC.
