"Kill This Love" music video surpassed BTS' "lDOL" which held the number 1 spot for reaching 10 million views on YouTube in 4 hours and 16 minutes last August, 2018. Now, after releasing the music video on April 5, 2019, BLACKPINK reached 10 million views in just 4 hours and 13 minutes, currently holding the number 1 spot in K-pop Charts and News.
They also made history as the first K-pop girl act to rank number 1 on iTunes charts. As the views keep counting, "Kill This Love" could also possibly surpass Ariana Grande's "Thank You, Next" music video for reaching 55 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours.
Right now, it has more than 50 million views after its release. Members, Lisa, Rose, Jisoo, and Jennie made their efforts all worth it.
Blinks are celebrating victory
"Kill This Love" is not only number 1 on YouTube but also trending everywhere. "Blinks" or BLACKPINK fans cannot hide their excitement and appreciation on the said music video. They have been talking about it and have been sharing their support all over the internet. They are like a team in supporting their idols for breaking records. He really admires BLACKPINK that he also liked a post about a petition for BLACKPINK and him to do a collaboration at Coachella 2019 where both are said to perform.
