K-pop group BTS experienced a successful year internationally. They are starting their third world tour in August 2018, earned the number one spot on this year's Forbes’ Korea Power Celebrity List, and are the first Korean artists to top the Billboard 200.

BTS's latest music video is a solo song featuring vocalist Jin

BTS's video for the song "Epiphany" was released ahead of their upcoming new album. The album, "Love Yourself: Answer" is the highly anticipated follow-up to their extremely successful "Love Yourself: Tear", which was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

"Love Yourself: Answer," will be the third album in their Love Yourself series, and is set to be released on August 24. "Epiphany" is sung by the group's eldest member Kim Seok-jin, and the lyrics are about thoughts on loving himself. The video immediately became a trending topic on Twitter with the use of the hashtag "Jintro," a hybrid of the singer's stage name, Jin, and the word "intro." Most of the group's albums begin with an introductory song, usually a solo performance, such as V's "Singularity" on "Love Yourself: Tear."

BTS's "Love Yourself" series of albums are all connected thematically through both lyrics and accompanying music videos. The overall story, which reflects on love, loss, and friendship, has been going on for over two years.

The group posted a tweet which said that the "Love Yourself" series will conclude with the latest "Answer" album.

BTS confirmed details about their upcoming tour

The upcoming tour for "Love Yourself: Tear" will be BTS's third international tour. The concert series quickly sold out, prompting the group's management, Big Hit Entertainment, to book the group's last stop for Citi Field in Queens, New York, which will make the boy band the first Korean artists to perform a stadium show in the United States.

The stadium, primarily the home of the New York Mets and can fit 40,000 people, will be the largest show ever performed by a Korean act. Tickets for the concert will go on sale on August 17.

BTS has become a global phenomenon since their debut in 2013 and accomplished many historical firsts for Korean pop music, such as earning awards like the Billboard Music Awards.

Their popularity stems from their meaningful music, flawless performances, and their deep relationship with their fanbase, called "ARMY." The worldwide tour will kick-off on August 25 in Seoul, Korea, and will pass through major cities in North America and Europe, which include Los Angeles, Newark, and Chicago.
