Ariana Grande leads Billboard Hot 100's top 5 songs of the moment

A nice mix of pop, hip-hop, and dance is leading the 100 hottest songs in the US right now.

'Thank U, Next' - Ariana Grande

The latest look at the Billboard Hot 100 shows that singing about one's exes is quite a successful idea. Ariana Grande takes the top spot in a song dedicated to the late Mac Miller, and other former flames, including Pete Davidson. It's also Grande's first-ever No. 1 single on the charts.

'Girls Like You' - Maroon 5 featuring Cardi B

Maroon 5's empowering pop song dedicated to women has continued to maintain a high presence on the charts. It also features hip-hop star Cardi B lending a verse and a music video full of great cameos all around.

'Sicko Mode' - Travis Scott featuring Drake

Travis Scott's "Astroworld" is one of the most successful hip-hop albums of the year by an artist not named Drake. His hit song "Sicko Mode" features Drake, though, and continues to rock home, car, club, and other speakers around the nation.

'Happier' - Marshmello & Bastille

This is one of three songs in the top five all about the heartbreak of a failed relationship. Just like Grande's tune, this one is all about moving on and how it's for the best. Cue up DJ Marshmello's dance track and Bastille's relevant lyrics to help ease that heartbreak just a bit.

'Lucid Dreams' - Juice WRLD

It's a catchy ballad, all about the pain caused by one's exes. It makes for quite a contrast to Grande's No. 1 song, but both are quite relevant at different times.
