Ever since Mal Young was fired from "The Young and the Restless," spoiler alerts have been dropping names of favorite characters who may return to Genoa City. Paul, Ashley, and Traci return this week, while Kevin and Lily are also supposed to come back, but no time frame has been given. Celeb Dirty Laundry is now stating that Dina Mergeron will be back on the screen to the delight of the viewers who love her. An alzheimer's diagnosis is nothing to laugh at, but the mother of the Abbott clan had several touching and humorous moments. Her candor and sharp wit kept the entire family on their toes and she needs to be at the forefront of things.

Dina will be seen in Genoa City

Soaps She Knows says the drama in Genoa City will heat up with Paul and Ashley returning this week, but Celeb Dirty Laundry indicates that another MIA "Y&R" character may be up to mischief as. Dina will be back this week after being off the screen without explanation for quite some time. Before the alzheimer's was diagnosed, Dina stabbed Niki with a fork, set fire to Nick's club, and took off with Chelsea's son, when she mistook him for a young Jack.

Previews for this week show Dina asking for Ashley and wondering why her daughter is not around. By the end of the week, the Abbott matriarch will have all of her children on hand in Genoa City. Spoilers don't say how Ms.

Mergeron will fit into the current storyline, but there will be a lot of drama taking place with her loved ones and she may not be able to handle it all. Previous spoilers suggested that Kerry may be working with Ashley to oust Phyllis from Jabot and she may also be plotting against Jack and Billy.

Traci may be Dina's saving grace

Whenever Traci shows up, she is the voice of reason for her volatile family members. She could be the mediator if spoilers are correct and Ashley has been telling Kerry what to do. It would certainly be out of character, but it is possible that Traci is the mastermind behind Ms. Johnson's actions.

Even so, she may be able to calm her mother through her episodes and end up being Dina's saving grace. Fans know that eventually there will be a point of no return but want to enjoy this beloved character for as long as possible.

Spoilers don't give details on what will take place this week in Genoa City, but "Y&R" fans will be elated to simply see the missing characters back in action. Mal Young sidelined Dina and Traci, fired Paul, and saw Eileen Davidson walk away from her role as Ashley. It will seem like old times to have them all return this week, so stay tuned. Be sure to tune in at 12:30 PM ET on CBS.
