Advanced tickets, for "Avengers: Endgame," are not available yet domestically, but cinema chains, nationwide, are gearing up for the expected biggest blockbuster of 2019. AMC Theaters recently hinted about a possible "Marvel Studios' 22-Movie Marathon" on April 23. Marvel Studios celebrated their 10th anniversary by bringing back every MCU movie to cinemas as part of a massive multi-day marathon.
Now that "Avengers: Infinity War," sequel is set to conclude the current Marvel Cinematic Universe era, it looks that a bigger marathon will be coming to theaters on release week.
While not everyone is up for a 22 movie marathon, many theaters have begun promoting opening night fan events for "Avengers: Endgame." With all this chatter, it's expected that advance ticket sales will become available very soon. Current international pre-sales signal that the first available screenings will sell out quickly. Based on global ticket sales, the film is expected to have an opening weekend haul of $282 million.
Avengers: Endgame fans waiting to know official run time
As theaters gear up for release week, here's hoping it won't be too much longer before an official runtime is announced. Earlier today, Anton Volkov from TrailerTrack tweeted out that the film would be 183 minutes, he later ended up deleting the post, claiming that the rumor might be bull.
Regardless, it's a strong possibility that the run time will come close to the 3-hour mark, allowing fans to decide whether or not if this is time well spent when "Avengers: Endgame," finally arrives in theaters on April 26.
News of the marathon comes as CableTV.com is looking for someone to watch all 20 released Marvel Movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe back-to-back, before the "Avengers: Endgame," release.
They are looking for a Marvel superfan who can live-tweet their lengthy marathon experience.
