A lot has changed in just a matter of episodes on the CW's "Roswell, New Mexico." Since Liz returned to Roswell, she's discovered her high school crush is an alien, her sister was murdered, he helped cover it up, and a fourth alien has been killing people for the past decade. Each episode continues to provide answers while also opening up more questions. With only three episodes left in the season, the episodes will continue to explore the murder mystery that started with Rosa, Project Shepard, the identity of the fourth alien, and the complicated sibling dynamics and romances.
Tuesday's episode saw Isobel being removed from the alien pod and receiving a cure, Liz and Max in the cute early stages of a relationship after their first kiss, Michael and Alex finally starting to open up about what each knows, and Noah discovering his wife is alien. The episode also delved into Isobel's blackouts and her relationship with Rosa as her memories were returning, leading to a shocking reveal: Isobel was under someone's control during her blackouts.
The series stars Jeanine Mason, Nathan Dean Parsons, Lily Cowles, Michael Vlamis, with Tyler Blackburn, Michael Trevino, Heather Hemmens, Karan Oberoi, and Trevor St. John as Jesse Manes.
Unlikely enemy revealed
The CW series is taking a week hiatus and will return April 9 with the episode “Champagne Supernova” which will find everyone going up against an unlikely enemy during the reopening of the UFO Emporium.
The promo gives an intense look at what's about to go down. Opening with Liz (Jeanine Mason) running through town, her voice is heard stating how trust can be a weakness and questioning if family, a best friend, and even one's own heart can be trusted, and ending by advising not to trust the one you love most. The promo reveals quick snippets of Michael standing over an unconscious Maria (Heather Hemmens), Max (Nathan Dean Parsons) falling to the ground beaten down, and Isobel (Lily Cowles) looming over him with a gun.
Upcoming Malex moment
Episode 12 “Creep” airs April 16 and the press release reveals that the episode will deal with the fallout events taking place in “Champagne Supernova." Max, Michael, and Isobel will disagree over the next steps to take. The episode will also see a team up between Alex, Michael, and Kyle (Michael Trevino) after Alex (Tyler Blackburn) uncovers a secret about Project Shepard and seeks their help to find answers.
The episode has also been hinted at having some great scenes between Kyle and Michael who don't like each other, and a major Michael (Michael Vlamis) and Alex moment.
Michael Vlamis teases an upcoming Malex (Michael and Alex) moment to EW. Through the two working together, Alex will experience something with Michael no one else has which the actor refers to as a special moment and one that will say a lot about their relationship and about Michael's past. Flashbacks won't be seen in the rest of the season with everything occurring in the present day but it can be assumed the remaining episodes will focus on all the blackouts and secrets in Roswell. Vlamis continues to tease the upcoming episode by sharing with Cosmopolitan the relationship between Alex and Michael will reach a boiling point.
The episode will have a moment showing how the two really feel about each other, but the actor stays mum on what the progression between the two will be. He did confirm a growth will be seen and the two will be together a lot. As for the season finale, the actor teases no one will guess what's going to happen.
