After months of teasing fans with just enough of a snippet of information, HBO finally released the long-awaited "Game of Thrones" season 8 official full trailer on Tuesday, March 5, giving the fans some tantalizing clues about what's to come in the final six episodes of the show.

The intense two-minute clip gives us a dramatic glimpse of some of the main characters as they are gearing up to fight for their lives in an epic final battle between the living and the dead. So, without further ado, let's take a look at the video and analyze its most interesting moments as well as the details you might have missed.

The highly-anticipated HBO's official trailer for the final season of "Game of Thrones" is finally here. Take a look.

What's up with Arya?

The trailer opens up with Arya Stark in what's probably the Winterfell's Crypts, gasping for air and running from someone, or something unknown. She hasn't been this scared in a long, long time. If you take a closer look, you can clearly see blood on the right side of her face.

As for who she is running from, one option is obviously some kind of a White Walker threat, the horde of wights, or maybe the Night King himself. However, it would be pretty unexpected if she is in fact, running from a Faceless Man sent to kill her because she stole from the Many-Faced God when she massacred the entire Frey family.

We then quickly see Davos, anxiously walking among the guards on top of Winterfell's walls, probably waiting for the Army of the Dead to strike, and then women, children and Varys hiding in the Crypts.

"I know death, he's got many faces," Arya says while looking at what looks like the dragonglass dagger "I look forward to seeing this one."

Analyzing the trailer: Things you've missed

The next shot features Euron Greyjoy's ships carrying the Golden Company, and Cersei overlooking their arrival to King's Landing, looking content.

The trailer then switches to Tormund and Beric alive and well, and most likely at the Castle Black as we see them passing through the tunnels along with Dolorous Ed.

"Everything you did brought you where you are now," Bran Stark says with Sam beside him, "where you belong, home."

He's obviously talking to Jon Snow in what has to be one of the most anticipated moments of the final season.

And sure enough, the next thing we see in the trailer are Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen riding to Winterfell with the Unsullied, the Dothraki and two dragons.

The next shot features Sansa seeing dragons for the first time. Unlike her sister, she's terrified of them.

"They're coming," Jon Snow says in a voiceover, "our enemy doesn't tire, doesn't stop, doesn't feel."

Then, there's a shot of Daenerys approaching Jon in the Crypts in what is definitely immediate aftermath of him finding out the truth about his parentage, judging by the grim look on his face.

We then briefly see Gendry overseeing the forging of new dragonglass weapons, before switching to Missandei as she kisses Grey Worm before the big battle.

The trailer then shows the Hound killing someone, Jaime Lannister defending the Winterfell's walls, before switching again to Cersei drinking wine alone, looking around all upset.

"I promise to fight for the living," Jaime says in the voiceover, "I intend to keep that promise." The next shots are of Jon standing in front of the weirwood tree, Tyrion looking up at the dragon, Dany and Jon approaching dragons looking as though they are about to ride them.

Then we get to see the nice shot of front line troops with Jorah, Podrick and Brienne waiting for a battle to begin, and then finally the undead horse arriving at Winterfell.
