Fans of "The Young and the Restless" are in for some interesting storylines during February sweeps. Spoiler alerts indicate that the Newman family drama will continue and that the person who has been terrorizing Victor and his loved ones may soon be revealed. As Genoa City residents try to figure out the mystery of what really happened to JT Helstrom the facts may lead to a startling conclusion. One of two dead men may prove to be alive and well as JT himself or his former brother in law Adam Newman could be behind all the mischief. It's a stretch but there is a possibility that both men may be living and breathing and working together.
JT continues to cause mayhem in Genoa City
Soaps She Knows reveals that JT will continue to be front and center on the minds of those living in Genoa City. Rey is determined that the Newman patriarch will go down for the murder of his former son in law. The cover-up crew is nervous because the list of people who know their secret continues to grow. Victoria refuses to commit to Billy because of her role in her ex-husband's death while Nick and his father both want to protect their families and get to the bottom of things.
Phyllis is the Genoa City wild card who is always looking out for herself. Distrust of the Newmans and jealousy caused her to tell Reed that his father abused his mother. She later told Vicki that Billy only turned to her because she Phyllis refused to get back together with him.
Spoilers indicate that her meddling and trying to pin JT's death on Victor will take a toll on her relationship with Nick.
Sharon is fighting her growing feelings for Rey while simultaneously withholding evidence related to the crime he is trying to solve. Nikki desperately wants the nightmare far behind her as she has already fallen off the wagon and begun drinking.
Her loved ones are also concerned that the stress may cause flare-ups of her MS. As February sweeps are almost upon us "The Young and the Restless" will no doubt pull out all the stops over why JT being alive and/or Adam returning to Genoa City seems so plausible.
Reasons both Adam and JT may be alive
For weeks on "The Young and the Restless," things have been taking place that opens up the possibility that JT Helstrom may be alive.
Numerous spoiler alerts have also been teasing that this could be so. Who else would have known about the poker Nikki struck him with or had access to the clothing he was wearing the night he attacked Victoria? Mr. Hestrom also has good knowledge of technology so he could easily be using surveillance equipment inside Victor's house.
Celeb Dirty Laundry, however, suggests that as Adam was spying on Chelsea and Conner inside their apartment, that perhaps he is the one wreaking havoc in Genoa City and targetting the Newmans. it's even possible that both men are alive and well and working together.
