Brittany Cartwright isn't just working out and eating healthy ahead of her wedding. She's also taking care of her face and recently, she underwent a series of Kybella injections to get rid of her double chin. According to a January 29 report from The Daily Dish, the "Vanderpump Rules" cast member enlisted the help of the Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon Group to eliminate her double chin with a non-invasive, FDA-approved procedure.
The 'Vanderpump Rules' cast is pro-Kybella
Cartwright, who is getting married later this year, and her co-stars, Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute, worked with Dr.
John Layke and Dr. Payman Danielpour, and shortly after their procedures took place, they shared photos of their results on social media. As The Daily Dish explained, Kybella is comparable to Botox and doesn't involve any surgery or lasers. Instead, the procedure is made up of a series of injections in the desired area.
In December, just before the holidays, Katie Maloney shared a photo of herself with a caption that informed her fans and followers of her new chin, which came after years of suffering from "three extra chins," as she explained. Maloney also said she was getting the Kybella treatment from Dr. John Layke, who she said was the only man she trusts with her face. As for Kristen Doute, she shared an image of Dr.
Layke giving her a Kybella injection on Instagram with the caption that told her online audience her under chin would be staying in 2018.
Brittany Cartwright had two treatments
In the caption of Brittany Cartwright's before and after photos, it was revealed that she had undergone two sessions of Kybella injections. As for the price for the two sessions, The Daily Dish told readers it likely cost the reality star about $3,000 and the results are permanent.
It was also revealed that patients, including Cartwright, have been known to have some pain, but only for a day or two.
"Our beautiful patient [Brittany Cartwright] received 2 sessions of Kybella, the Plastix Docs on Instagram wrote in the caption of their before and after photos of Cartwright. According to the Instagram page, the treatments were aimed at eliminating fat in Cartwright's chin and do so by mimicking the naturally occurring deoxycholic acid molecules of the body.
