Nick asked his mother what was wrong and she finally forced out the words that she has been holding in for so long and that Victor would not let her say. Nick will later turn himself in, to the police to protect his mother.
Nikki Confesses all to Nick
Soap Dirt reveals that seeing the bloody poker is going to rattle Nikki to the point she tells Nick it is the murder weapon and that she is the one who hit JT. Loyal viewers of "The Young and the Restless" have been waiting to find out which of the cover-up crew would crack first and all four have at times seemed about to give in. Nikki is being targeted and a rash confession may be just what her stalker wants.
The fact that someone burned the Newman stables, planted a shirt with JT's blood on it and placed his clothing on Nikki's bed all left her troubled. Now that the poker has surfaced she simply cannot go on holding the secret.
Someone is targeting the Newman patriarch and her son will want to get to the bottom of it all. Spoilers don't say if Nikki reveals that Victoria, Phyllis, and Sharon were also in on the cover-up, but Nick will eventually find out as the tale unravels.
Nick lies to protect his mother
Celeb Diry Laundry says that once Nick listens to his mother's tale, he turns himself in to protect her.
Whoever is targetting Nikki, knows that her son had nothing to do with the murder so they may become enraged. Nick's efforts to protect Nikki may be in vain because while he is locked up, the stalker is able to continue his or her mischief. The most likely culprit would be one of the cover-up gang or JT. himself because no one else knows the intimate details of that night.
Nick promised Victor that he would step up and take care of his mother, and now according to spoilers, he will do just that.
