Kyle Richards is currently in the midst of what she has deemed a "hard season" of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." As she and her co-stars, including Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, Denise Richards, and Teddi Mellencamp-Arroyave, continue production on season nine, the mother of four opened up about the "exciting" and "interesting" upcoming episodes, which reportedly don't include much of longtime star Lisa Vanderpump.

During an appearance at the Rebag store opening in Los Angeles earlier this month, Richards spoke to Hollywood Life, via a November 14 report, and during the interview, she said that she and her co-stars have been facing tons of drama throughout the season.

“It’s been going really well!” she said. “It’s been — I think the viewers are going to be really taken back by a few things." According to Richards, filming on the series has gone well, TV wise, and she believes it will be an "exciting" and "interesting season." That said, when things are good TV wise, it often means she and her co-stars haven't had the best time dealing with the drama they've been faced.

'RHOBH' season nine was a 'hard season'

“It’s been a hard season," Kyle Richards continued, adding that she and the rest of the cast haven't had a season like season nine before. Apparently, there's much more "craziness" happening between Richards and her co-stars and at this point, nine years into her reality career, she's getting accustomed to the ongoing drama and tense moments.

What's it like filming without Lisa Vanderpump?

After filming eight full seasons with Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards told Hollywood Life it was "weird" not having her around for the majority of season nine. “We’re the only original ones left," Richards explained, noting that she wished Vanderpump was around more often to film.

Kyle Richards hasn't spoken to Lisa Vanderpump for 'months'

With fans concerned that Vanderpump will not return to Bravo TV for any further seasons of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Richards told the outlet that it has been a while since she saw or spoke to her former friend. She also said that she loves and misses the restauranteur.

As for the rumors claiming Richards and her co-stars have chosen to avoid Vanderpump during filming, Richards made it clear that she would love to have her reunite with her and the rest of the cast.

The ninth season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is expected to premiere on Bravo TV sometime next year.
