"General Hospital" spoilers indicate that two fan favorites will finally return to Port Charles in October. Viewers have been waiting since the Nurses Ball this past spring to see Laura Collins and her grandson Spencer on screen once more. Soaps She Knows says Laura will come back in time to be a part of the evil twin storyline. Soap Hub teases that Spencer might use his intuitive skills to be the one to identify and vanquish the evil Ryan Chamberlain. Now that Dante working with the WSB, Lulu could benefit from her mother and nephew being on hand to help her deal with everything that has recently happened.

When Spencer Cassadine made his exit from Port Charles over a year ago, his portrayer, Nicholas Bechtel said on Twitter, "See you next Summer." His grandma Laura was supposed to have returned to town during the spring. The season changed and now it is fall, and finally, both will be back in action to the delight of fans. Soap Dirt teases that the Cassadine prince may be the one to expose Ryan as the fraud that he is. Laura may figure it out first because after all, she is Kevin's wife.

Laura and her grandson will, quite possibly, unravel the mystery together, which would put their lives in danger from the serial killer. The duo will also be on hand to assist Lulu who is raising her children without Dante who is out of town working for the WSB. Naturally, Spencer will want to do battle with his great-uncle Valentin who he believes killed his father.

However, they fit these two characters into current events will be exciting for their fans.

Laura and Spencer may save Kevin from Ryan

Soap Hub points out how initially viewers were not sure which brother was locked away at Ferncliff. The reason being that Ryan so craftily insisted to the staff that he was his twin. Now that the two have traded places Kevin will have a harder time proving who he is.

No one in Port Charles realizes that Dr. Collins had his sibling committed to the facility for the criminally insane. It will be interesting to watch the drama play out as the truth is finally revealed.

Spoilers don't say how long Laura and Spencer will stick around Port Charles, or give details related to their storyline. They more than likely will be an integral part of Kevin's rescue from Ferncliff and taking Ryan down.
