Catelynn Lowell and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, were happy to see MTV take a stand against their former "Teen Mom OG" co-star, Farrah Abraham, and fire her from appearing on the long-running reality series. On Thursday (July 12), the couple will be seen appearing on the new episode of "The Dr. Oz Show" to discuss a number of issues, including their depression struggles, and during the appearance, viewers will watch as they reveal their true thoughts regarding the shocking standoff between Abraham and their producer, Morgan J. Freeman.

While filming the seventh season of "Teen Mom OG" at the end of last year, Morgan J.

Freeman dealt Abraham with an ultimatum: either quit her gigs with the adult entertainment industry or be fired from the show. In response, Abraham informed her then-boss that she was not willing to walk away from all that she's doing in the world of adult entertainment and was promptly fired. Abraham's firing was later aired during a March episode of the show.

How does the 'Teen Mom' cast feel about Farrah Abraham being let go?

“I think if it’s going against what MTV believes in and that’s what they feel like they had to do, then that’s what they feel like they have to do,” Catelynn Lowell explained. As the longtime reality star pointed out, she and her co-stars, including Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood, have no choice when it comes to who their co-stars are.

“I think it’s great. I think it’s awesome. The way [Farrah Abraham] decided to live, her lifestyle, it just doesn’t really mesh with the rest of the ['Teen Mom OG'] cast and what we’re trying to educate [viewers] about, it just doesn’t work," Tyler Baltierra added. "It doesn’t work very well together.

[Farrah]’s not a really nice person to be around.”

Catelynn and Tyler applaud MTV for the way they handled Farrah Abraham

Continuing on to Dr. Oz on his daytime talk show, Lowell and Baltierra said that they both have a lot of respect and admiration for their production team and the way they decided to handle their situation with Farrah Abraham.

"They kind of made a stand with a voice and it was a good way to get it heard,” Baltierra explained.

Catelynn Lowell, Tyler Baltierra, and their co-stars, including Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, Mackenzie Standifer, Andrew Glennon, Gary Shirley, Ryan Edwards, and Taylor McKinney, are expected to return to MTV later this year for the upcoming eighth season of "Teen Mom OG."
