Spoilers for "The Young and the Restless" tease that Monday (July 2) will bring danger, intrigue, and tense drama for the residents of Genoa City. Hilary and Devon have been growing closer as they anticipate the birth of their baby. The couple is going to be shocked, however, when a routine doctor visit indicates that their unborn child's heart is not beating. There will also be trouble for the cover-up gang when they obtain evidence that J.T.
is still living and breathing. Soap Hub states that Phyllis, Nikki, Sharon, and Victoria will all be scrambling to outsmart Mr. Helstrom or the individual who is impersonating him.
The cover-up gang gets a shock
Last week on "The Young and the Restless," Nikki, Victoria, Sharon, and Phyllis received the shock of their lives. Someone using J.T.'s credit card sent documents to Newman Enterprises that indicated they had access to top secret information. Everyone, except the cover-up gang, believes that Mr. Helstrom is seeking revenge on Victor, and trying to destroy his empire. Video footage of the suspect was viewed on Friday (June 29), by Victor, his wife, and daughter.
They were shocked to find they were indeed looking at the face of J.T. Helstrom.
On Monday, believing they are dealing with the man they thought they had buried, the cover-up gang will resort to desperate means in an attempt to try to outwit J.T. Soaps She Knows says Phyllis will suggest digging up the grave to find out if J.T. is lying there. If the space in Chancellor Park is empty, then the women have big problems. If indeed the culprit is Mr. Helstrom, "The Young and the Restless" must address how he escaped his burial ground, and why he is targetting Victor, instead of the women who left him for dead.
Hilary and Devon's fairy tale will not have a happy ending
Mishael Morgan, who portrays Hilary did not renew her "Y&R" contract, so fans know that her exit from Genoa City is imminent.
Previous spoilers suggest that she will have a tragic sendoff. Soap Hub only says there will be no heartbeat detected on Monday, but does not confirm the baby is deceased. This leaves the door open for several possibilities regarding Devon and Hilary, and how their fairy tale story will end.
If Devon's child dies, Hilary could become so devastated that she either leaves town to start her life over or becomes so overwhelmed with grief that she is not paying attention and loses her life in an auto accident. Soaps She Knows shared Ms. Morgan's heartfelt goodbye message to her fans, but nothing was said about how and when she will depart "The Young and the Restless." Be on the lookout for additional spoilers updates and keep watching "Y&R" weekday afternoons on CBS at 12:30 PM ET.
