Jeremy Calvert and Desiree Kibler have reportedly split after dating for just a few months. On Twitter, the "Teen Mom 2" dad is already getting fed up with the ongoing rumors regarding why they called it quits.

Early this morning (June 9), after seeing an article about his breakup and how his ex-wife, Leah Messer, may have been involved, Calvert fought back, denying that a series of text messages sent to his former partner caused his recent split from Kibler. As some may have seen, Starcasm shared an article on Twitter that suggested Kibler may have been upset to learn that Calvert was allegedly trying to win back Messer during filming on the eighth season of "Teen Mom 2."

Following their reported split, Calvert fueled breakup rumors on Instagram when he shared a meme about being betrayed on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Kibler allegedly sent out a number of her Twitter page about someone "acting single."

After seeing Starcasm's post, Calvert said that he badly wanted to be a "petty a**hole" but ultimately decided to leave the report alone. Then, continuing on to his fans and followers, Calvert said that the events of the eighth season of "Teen Mom 2" did not have anything to do with his breakup from Desiree Kibler.

Despite not wanting to address the report, Calvert ultimately shared another Twitter post with his online audience and suggested that the reason he and Kibler's romance came to an end was the result of her failure to put him first. "People f**k up, I have plenty of times in my life and I'm not afraid to say it, but now at this point in my life I'm not settling for second place in someone's life," he explained.

"Unless they already have a child then it's understandable."

After going public with their relationship months ago, Calvert and Kibler appeared to be completely over the moon with one another. In fact, they seemed to be headed for an engagement as Kibler continued to gush about their romance on her Twitter page.

At one point, Kibler even spoke about her future with Calvert and included a diamond ring emoji.
