Fans of the Duggar Family cannot get enough new episodes of their series "Counting On" and sources have indicated that Season 8 is on the way. A specific premiere date has not emerged yet, but people are buzzing about all of the events likely to be covered in the next new episodes.
TLC teases what's ahead, but hasn't shared when Season 8 begins
So far, TLC's "Counting On" webpage simply notes that there's more coming this summer and fans can look forward to plenty of surprises.
The network's preview video shares some great teasers about which Duggar members will be featured this summer and it looks like the cameras will bring plenty of family drama to television screens. As Duggar fans know, there have been several weddings in the past few years featured on "Counting On" and now those couples are expanding the family by having children. Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo are expecting their first baby soon, as are Joe and Kendra Duggar. Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth recently welcomed their first baby, and their pregnancy will be a central part of Season 8.
Joe and Kendra's wedding was featured in the last season of "Counting On" and viewers will get to see their honeymoon and pregnancy announcement coming soon.
Jessa and Ben Seewald already have two sons and they'll share some fun tidbits about how they keep the spark in their marriage going and how they handle their busy household.
'Counting On' fans won't miss the mention of another baby for Jessa and Ben
The Duggar show preview shows Ben mentioning having another child before the end of their fourth year of marriage, and this seems to get a raised eyebrow from Jessa. There have been rumors swirling off-and-on for months now that they're expecting their third child already, but so far those have remained just rumors. The Season 8 "Counting On" preview also teases the latest courtship in the family that developed recently. Viewers will see Josiah Duggar and his courtship with Lauren Swanson, and fans know that the two are now engaged and InTouch Weekly suggests that they may be getting married on New Year's Eve at the end of this year.
Based on this TLC preview, it looks like Josh Duggar, his wife Anna, and their children will remain off-screen, as will Jill, her husband Derick Dillard, and their two sons. Fans can certainly expect to see some updates on the older and still single Duggar siblings and some of the little ones too. It does look like Season 8 of "Counting On" will bring a lot of the kind of family drama that viewers expect, and fans shouldn't have to wait too much longer for the new episodes to begin.
