When "Ant-Man and The Wasp" flies into theaters in early July, it could possibly have more than one villain in the movie. Trailers and the plot synopsis have already revealed that a character named "Ghost" is the primary villain for the new Marvel film. However, a recent cast list that has shown up online may have spoiled another villain who could pop up in the "Ant-Man" sequel.

'Ant-Man' cast list spoilers?

According to the website Inverse, there was "what's supposedly the full cast list" for the new "Ant-Man" film revealed on Twitter. The tweet came from Disney fan Tumbler account Stitch Kingdom.

It shows off most of the major actors and characters fans were expecting, including Paul Rudd as Scott Lang aka "Ant-Man," Evangeline Lily as "The Wasp," and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. Other actors returning for the film include rapper Clifford "T.I." Harris as Dave and Michael Pena as Luis.

Upon closer inspection of the "supposed" cast list, there's a character named Elihas Starr played by actor Michael Cerveris. For fans of the hit show, "Gotham," Cerveris is Professor Pyg, who has a "perfectly bald head." Interestingly enough, the Elihas Starr character also requires that sort of look.

Starr's role in the 'Ant-Man' comics

Elihas Starr first made an appearance back in 1962 in the Marvel Comics' "Tales to Astonish" No. 38 issue. He was a smart government atomic scientist with an egg-shaped head. He eventually adopted the villainous name, "Egghead," and was a known enemy for the original Ant-Man.

The key villain had an obsession with Hank Pym which led to several battles, kidnappings, and other situations in the comic books.

Egghead attempted to figure out the various technologies and other advancements that Hank Pym created to make the Ant-Man suit work so well. That could play a major part in the new "Ant-Man and The Wasp" movie, although so far, Ghost has been the featured villain in most of the movie's promotional material.

While there aren't many references to Egghead being involved in stories with Ghost in the "Ant-Man" comic books, Marvel has found ways to change things up in their Movies.

It's possible the two villains could be working together in the new film, or that Egghead is the man orchestrating Ghost's plans behind the scenes. Another possibility will be flashbacks or time travel in which Elihas Starr aka Egghead appears as part of the story.

"Ant-Man and The Wasp" arrives into theaters on July 6, 2018, for fans to see Hank Pym, Ant-Man, and The Wasp do battle with Ghost, and possibly Egghead.
