Queen Elizabeth is known to have a sense of humor, but the live coverage planned for her grandson's royal wedding may not be something she finds funny. The royal jewels may jiggle and the royal palace halls may rumble when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tie the royal knot, thanks to the planned live coverage.

Fox News reports today that they don't expect Queen Elizabeth to be pleased when Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon get into character to narrate the live coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.

The duo will play the roles of Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan when they host the royal wedding coverage for an HBO special.

Live coverage credentials

The comic duo will put their own spin on what they see as they cover Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's big day. Ferrell and Shannon will offer their coverage from London, arriving on site with the credentials that include their "famous reporting" of the Rose Parade in California.

'Funny or Die'

The special is for the show "Funny or Die," so there's no mistaking it will be full of satire and jokes as they join Tim Meadows along with other guests to offer this Royal Wedding Live Coverage.

"The Royal Wedding Live with Cord and Tish" will air live at 7:30 AM ET on May 19 and for those of you making their way to work at that time, the special will air again later that evening.

A field day with fascinators?

You may never look at one of those little fascinator hats again the same way you do today after hearing the characters of Cord and Tish take on the crowd's fashion and behaviors. Those little hats, made famous by Kate Middleton, are bound to show up in the crowd at the wedding and for sure either Cord or Tish will spot those fascinating little fascinators.

Will Queen Elizabeth frown?

Both Ferrell and Shannon are producers of this HBO special as well as the star hosts of the royal wedding live coverage for this venue.

While it is not known if Queen Elizabeth will frown upon comedy coming out of this latest royal wedding, Fox News surmises she won't be pleased.

Royal wedding with Cord and Tish

Royal watchers and steadfast royal family fans may not like a twist of comedy thrown into the wedding coverage as well, but luckily for them, Cord and Tish's HBO live coverage is not the only place to watch the nuptials. According to BBC News, they have waved their licensing fees for the royal wedding for street parties and other venues. The BBC will be airing the royal wedding and granting others the rights to use their coverage as well.

As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry get ready to take that walk down the aisle, people in the UK as well as across the pond are getting set to watch the live coverage of the event. Will people tune into the solemn and prestigious viewing that the BBC will no doubt offer or will they go for HBO's flare of comedy with Cord and Tish?
