Next 'Into the Spider-Verse' trailer coming soon

Director Peter Ramsey stated in his tweet how important Miles Morales' story is in "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and he could not wait to show the fruits of their labor to the comic book fans across the globe. It is important for Ramsey, co-director Bob Persichetti, and screenwriters Phil Lord and Chris Miller to get the details right. Ramsey is confident enough that the new trailer will be a huge hit online.

The first trailer of "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" featured Miles wearing his make-shift Spidey costumes as he tries to test his powers by jumping off a building.

The trailer also featured Miles chasing after the Prowler on the streets, who unbeknownst to him, is actually his uncle Aaron Davis. Miles is also standing on the gravestone of his universe's Peter Parker, who died in battle. But the end of trailer sees him meeting another version of Peter.

What do we know about the 'Spidey' film so far?

Sony Entertainment announced at this year's CinemaCon that "New Girl" star Jake Johnson will voice Peter Parker in the "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" movie. Peter will be an important piece of the film's plot, as his influence will draw Miles to become the hero he was meant to be.

The animated movie also teased more classic villains as the first trailer hinted clues about Wilson Fisk and Norman Osborn (a.k.a. The Green Goblin). The two characters are Spidey's most notorious enemies, as Fisk controls the New York criminal empire, while Green Goblin is obsessed with destroying the web-heads life and will go so far as to harm his loved ones.

The "Spider-Verse" film is one of the many spin-off projects that Sony is developing for their Spider-Man cinematic universe using characters like Venom, Black Cat and Silver Sable, and Morbius.
