Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin attempted to get back together with one another after calling it quits on their marriage in 2016. According to a new report, the "Teen Mom 2" cast member and mother of three recently opened up about her efforts to rekindle her romance with her ex-husband, explaining that despite their motivation to reconcile, they both knew deep down that they could never work out.
On May 22, Lowry spoke to Radar Online, confirming that she and Marroquin "definitely" talked about getting back together and even went through times where they were trying to reconcile. Now, however, as Lowry explained, she would never consider getting back together with her former husband, and her co-star, Briana DeJesus, seems to be the main reason behind her decision to shut that door for good.

“[Javi Marroquin] and I were in such a good place right before [Briana DeJesus] and him started dating," Kailyn Lowry explained.
"We worked so hard to get there. It was disappointing when it all fell apart.” Lowry and Marroquin share a son, four-year-old Lincoln, and will be in one another's lives for years to come, whether they like it or not.
According to Lowry, Marroquin's behavior over the past several months has majorly disappointed her and she continues to feel that her ex-husband should have had her back more than he did during a number of situations between her and DeJesus. As Lowry explained to Radar Online, it has been hard for her to watch the episodes of "Teen Mom 2" season eight play out.

During filming on the second half of season eight of "Teen Mom 2," Javi Marroquin was seen preparing to pop the question to Briana DeJesus after just months of dating.
Fast forward to the present time and he and DeJesus are no longer together. In fact, Marroquin recently moved on from their short-lived relationship and got back together with former girlfriend Lauren Comeau.
Although Lowry's relationship with DeJesus remains tense, the longtime reality star told Radar Online that things between her and her ex-husband are "good" at the moment.
