Carrie Underwood's horrific accident

Carrie Underwood unfortunately took a fall down the front stairs of her home in Nashville while walking her dogs back in November of 2017.

This happened just days after she hosted the ACM Awards. The result of Underwood's accident was a broken wrist, a chipped tooth, and about 50 stitches to her face. Underwood was shaken by her fall, and when she looked in the mirror she was horrified by her bloody upper lip. Underwood was worried about the damage to her upper lip leaving a scar, and even told fans to be prepared for any changes to her appearance. She has been very secretive about her injuries, especially to her upper lip. However, the healing process has gone smoothly, and many fans cannot even see the scar on her upper lip. Underwood finally opened up about her accident on "The Bobby Bones Show" in an interview on April 19, 2018.

Underwood's new music video for 'Cry Pretty'

Carrie Underwood's new music video for "Cry Pretty" displays her vulnerability and emotions. The music video jumps back and forth to various scenes of Underwood. The scenes show the contrast between the strong public appearance of the singer, and the behind the scenes vulnerability of Underwood.

The music video begins with Underwood standing in a shower. The scene is not provocative, but it is an intimate look into the singer's life. The video then jumps to Underwood walking out onto the stage in a powerful and controlled manner.

The music video also jumps around to scenes of Underwood getting ready in her bedroom. Again, the scenes are not provocative, but show another glimpse of the singer getting ready to perform on stage.

These scenes show Underwood trying to get ready as she is either crying in bed, or in front of the mirror at her vanity. Underwood's message is emotional, as she tells the story of how someone may be emotional in the background, but must put on a strong face to be in the public eye. Musicians and Celebrities are human too, and struggle with emotions that they try to cover up.

It is great to see Carrie Underwood recovered, and releasing new songs. Her album "Cry Pretty" is set to be released on September 14, 2018 worldwide. This is the first time Underwood is part of the production of an album, as she is co-producing her album with a producer/writer named David Garcia. According to USA Today, "Cry Pretty is Underwood's first new album since her Storyteller project that was released in 2015." Fans are excited to hear more songs from the country superstar's new album.
