The fans of "Alaskan Bush People" are so excited to hear that this show hasn't been canceled and will return once again. Now everyone is just wondering when the show will return. Discovery hasn't given an actual date, but there are some hints that make it seem like it won't be long. There is no reason to think that it will be months before the return.
Hints from Discovery
Discovery channel has given a few hints that make it seem like the return of "Alaskan Bush People" is coming soon. Last month Executive Vice President of Public Relations for Discovery, Laurie Goldberg confirmed the fact that they were filming and any rumors that they weren't are not true.
They did have some issues with weather that made filming take longer than planned. This seems to have held them up, but they may have decided to release the show at the same time either way.
This new season is in Washington and not Alaska, but it sounds like they are fighting with weather issues there as well. Discovery shared that some of the roads have even been closed and that it is a remote area. It isn't surprising that the Brown family would decide to live in a new area that is also remote even though it isn't Alaska. They had to give up on Brown Town, but who knows what they are doing on their new land. Things are really going to change and that is going to be a really interesting part of the new season of "Alaskan Bush People."
Brown family health issues
If you have been following the Brown family, they have had a few health issues that seem to have caused delays in filming as well.
Just recently, Bear ended up in the hospital with an eye injury and had to wear a patch for a while. Noah ended up having his gallbladder removed and also Gabe was sick with what seemed like the flu for awhile. Hopefully, they are all starting to feel better.
The fans are really excited to see how Ami Brown is doing. The fans haven't been getting the updates from the Brown family that they would like and a new season is the only way that is going to happen.
Ami had lung cancer, but she is now in remission, which is great news. It has been revealed that Ami will be in this season of the show as well.
The fans won't be waiting too much longer for the new season of "Alaskan Bush People." Personally, I would expect it to start this summer and hopefully, the date is revealed sooner rather than later. The fans really need to know when the show will be back again so they can make sure to get the DVR set and ready.
