Mackenzie Standifer is reportedly having trouble acknowledging her husband Ryan Edwards' addiction to drugs. According to a new report, the "Teen Mom OG" star, who is currently pregnant with Edwards' second child, is in "denial" about his ongoing issues and how serious they actually are.

“Mackenzie only wants to focus on having [Ryan's] baby and seems to be hoping that this will help [Ryan] to be inspired to live a clean and sober life,” a source told Us Weekly magazine on April 3. Meanwhile, Edwards is allegedly denying that his Drug Addiction is a big deal, as anyone addicted to drugs would do.

"[She] chooses to believe him,” the insider added.

Ryan Edwards' drug addiction was confirmed in 2017 after fans watched in horror as he nearly nodded off while driving himself and Mackenzie Standifer to their first wedding that May. The incident was shocking and followed a number of incidents involving questionable behavior from Edwards.

Another Us Weekly insider spoke out about the upcoming "Teen Mom OG" reunion special, which was recently filmed in New York City. As the source explained, Edwards and his drug use will be a hot topic during the upcoming episodes later this month and some believe the reality star didn't stay in rehab long enough.

Ryan Edwards went to rehab after marrying Mackenzie

Shortly after their May 2017 wedding, it was confirmed that Edwards had entered into a weeks-long treatment program. However, just months later, as he and Standifer got married for a second time, he was seen drinking. Edwards was also seen drinking at a bachelor event leading up to his ceremony and rumors regarding a drug relapse have been swirling ever since.

Just one day after his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, confirmed she was expecting their child on an episode of "Teen Mom OG," it was reported that Edwards had been taken into custody in Tennessee after breaking his probation with a heroin arrest several months prior. Although Edwards has since been released from custody, his legal drama is far from over and recently, he was hit with a number of temporary orders of protection from Maci Bookout and her family, including her husband Taylor McKinney.

The orders require Edwards to stay away from Bookout, McKinney, and her three kids.
