Brandi Glanville and her longtime nemesis, Leann Rimes, have made peace -- at least for now. Over the weekend, while celebrating the birthday of Jake Cibrian, one of the two sons Glanville shares with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, the former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star shared an unexpected photo with her fans and followers that included herself and Rimes.
In the caption of the April 15 photo, Glanville confirmed she and Rimes had made peace for the sake of her 11-year-old son. "Peace in [Calabasas] hanging for Jake's [birthday]," she wrote.
In the photo, Glanville and the country singer were both seen smiling at the camera as they posed with their faces close.
Brandi Glanville's Instagram followers are thrilled
After Glanville shared the photo of herself and LeAnn Rimes on Instagram, a number of her fans and followers weighed in on their reconciliation and applauded both women for putting their differences aside for the sake of Jake and his brother, Mason Cibrian. As fans well know, Glanville and Rimes have been at odds, often in a very public way, for the past several years since Rimes was caught having an affair with Glanville's now-ex-husband Eddie Cibrian in 2009.
While starring alongside one another in 2009's "Northern Lights," a Lifetime movie, Cibrian and Rimes engaged in a shocking affair with one another behind the backs of Glanville and Dean Sheremet, who was married to Rimes at the time.
Two years later, after divorcing their ex-spouses, Rimes and Cibrian tied the knot, which made Rimes the stepmother of Jake and Mason.
Is Brandi Glanville returning to 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'?
In addition to making headlines for her recent hangout sessions with LeAnn Rimes and Scheana Marie, who was also sleeping with Cibrian while they were married, Brandi Glanville has sparked rumors of a possible return to the Bravo reality series.
Last week, as she enjoyed a meal at West Hollywood hotspot Craig's Restaurant, Glanville was seemingly joined by Erika Girardi and Lisa Rinna. In recent months, Glanville has applauded Girardi for her on-screen persona on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and made it clear that she is a big fan. As for Rinna, Glanville and Rinna weren't on the best of terms when Glanville's role on the show came to an end after season six.
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season eight airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
