On “The Young and the Restless,” the character of Nick Newman is once again out of touch with what is taking place around him in Genoa City. All the women in his life in recent years have deceived him regarding children he believed to be his. Victor always gets the best of him no matter how hard Nick tries to fight back. This week he could not figure out that his father was telling him that J.T. Was his assailant and now he is missing, signals that four women in his life are in serious trouble. His mother, sister, and two ex-wives are all in over their heads and may need his help to get out of the mess they created.
Nick always ends up clueless
On Friday's episode of “The Young and the Restless” Victor wrote J.T.”s name on a tablet and Nick and Nikki totally misunderstood. They thought he was alluding to the fact that J.T. was pushing Victoria to marry him. On Monday Victor tried again to convey that his former son in law is the one who pushed him down the stairs. He wrote the initials a second time and again his son was clueless.
Nick rattled on and on and even asked his dad if he wanted him to bring J.T. To the hospital to see him. Victor became agitated and finally forced the words out of his mouth that J.T. Is the one who put him in the hospital. Nick then called Paul and headed to his sister's house totally unaware of what was taking place on the other side of Genoa City.
The women in his life have betrayed Nick again
Nick shows up at his sister's house with absolutely no idea why his mother and two former wives are gathered inside. They tell him that Victoria broke up with J.T. and needed their moral support. All the while the lifeless body of Mr. Helstrom is lying upstairs on the floor. Spoilers on Celeb Dirty Laundry teased that the women might need Nick‘s assistance but after he left they took matters into their own hands.
Phyllis, Vicky, Sharon, and Nikki wrapped the dead body in a rug and dumped it in a hole in Chancellor Park. Meanwhile, Nick is determined to find his former brother-in-law and make him pay for trying to kill Victor. He is going on a wild goose chase all over Genoa City thanks to four women who should care enough to tell him the truth.
This deception is following on the heels of Chelsea leaving town with Conner and will cause Nichols Newman additional pain.
