Dorinda Medley and her "Real Housewives Of New York City" co-stars took part in an alleged cruise from hell earlier this year while filming the tenth season of the show in Cartagena, Columbia. As fans have surely heard by now, a number of wild reports in regard to the incident had surfaced in February, some of which suggested that the boat nearly sank after catching fire.

While Andy Cohen denied that there was a fire on the vessel during an interview with Entertainment Tonight months ago, Medley spoke to the outlet more recently and suggested that the incident was too traumatic to go into detail about.

“I mean, I don’t really want to comment on it," Medley said. "It’s sort of an uncomfortable situation. It wasn’t a great situation," she continued. "It wasn’t a positive experience."

The cast of "The Real Housewives of New York City" hasn't said a whole lot, about their boat ride in South America, since the incident took place but soon, fans are expected to see the ordeal play out first-hand when the upcoming episode airs.

What really happened at sea in Colombia?

According to an insider who spoke to Page Six in February, the anchor of the boat got stuck after the cast of "The Real Housewives of New York City" were ushered onto the boat. So, while they were scheduled to set sail right away, the vessel was unable to move and the crew had to saw off the anchor before they could embark on what was supposed to be a fun excursion.

From there, the cast reportedly suffered from severe seasickness and many of the cast members thought they were going to die at sea. "They were hysterical,” the source explained of the ladies.

What did Andy Cohen say about the incident?

Following a bevy of terrifying stories about the "cruise from hell," Andy Cohen, creator of the "Real Housewives" franchise, spoke to Entertainment Tonight about his cast's trip, claiming that the majority of the rumors swirling about it were completely false.

According to Cohen, there was a "squirrelly boat trip" in Colombia, but there was absolutely no fire on board the vessel and the boat did not sink. "It’s been grossly misrepresented,” he added.
