Jim Bob Duggar and his son John-David seem like they are getting along great on the show "Counting On," but now it sounds like these two may have a few differences. In Touch Weekly shared the details about how it sounds like John-David Duggar is mad about Jim Bob spending too much money on things the family doesn't need or that aren't good purchases.
A former employee tells all
John-David Duggar is 28-years-old and still lives at home. He hasn't ever tied the knot. The Duggar kids seem to Live At Home until they get married and that is what he is doing.
The insider explained the details and said, "When John David doesn't want to be a part of it, then you know that it ain't right. John David is a good guy, and he's in a good spot. He gets to do what he wants to do." It is pretty interesting that he is so in charge, but he is very involved in everything with the family.
The source went on to explain that Jim Bob Duggar makes a lot of purchases and that John-David doesn't always agree with them. It turns out that the does buy a lot of real estates and also equipment. The family has a lot of money from the show, but it needs to be spent wisely. The source explained that Jim Bob will think he got a good deal by spending $4,000 on something then later realize that it is going to cost a lot of money to fix it, so it wasn't really as good of a deal as he thought.
His son is tired of this happening.
Is this causing problems?
It sounds like this is causing some big problems for the family. Jim Bob Duggar is used to being in charge of everyone and it sounds like he is losing control of his son. The source explained that John-David can make his own decision at his age and that his dad doesn't love that at all.
Jana and John-David both still live at home, but they are adults. At some point, this could cause John-David to decide that it is time to move out and be on his own. If he did that, he would be the first one in the family to move out before getting married.
Of course, Jim Bob Duggar still has control over some of the kids, but they are all starting to get older and move out on their own.
Before long, he won't have any kids living at home and then things will change for the Duggar family a lot.
