jax taylor shared a surprising tweet with his fans and followers on Friday, April 20. After spending several days in Kentucky with his longtime girlfriend Brittany Cartwright, the "Vanderpump Rules" star took to his Twitter account and announced that he and Cartwright will "soon" be purchasing a new home somewhere around where her parents and grandparents reside.

"Will have a home here soon," Taylor wrote of himself and Cartwright, adding: "We love coming here." The "Vanderpump Rules" couple's latest visit to Kentucky came on the heels of a messy split on the show.

As fans saw on Monday night, Taylor informed Cartwright that he wanted to be alone for a while months after he admitted to cheating on her with Faith Stowers. Right away, Cartwright was understandably furious at Taylor for breaking up with her after she remained dedicated to him, despite his infidelity.

Also on Twitter, Taylor responded to a commenter who said they were rooting for him and Cartwright to get married and start a family together. "Keep watching to see," he teased. As fans may have noticed earlier this week, Taylor posted a photo of himself and Cartwright visiting The Kentucky Castle on his Instagram story.

At the end of last year, as they celebrated the holidays in Kentucky with Cartwright's family, Taylor and his girlfriend posed for a number of photos shared on their social media accounts, and in one photo, the couple was seen at The Kentucky Castle, where Taylor confirmed his girlfriend wanted to get married.

Is Brittany Cartwright currently engaged?

For the past several months, Cartwright has been seen on Instagram showing off a stunning ring on occasion and during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" earlier this year, she was sporting the same ring. Even Taylor has been seen wearing what appears to be a wedding ring in recent snaps and some believe the couple is currently engaged.

That said, there has been no official announcement from either one of the reality stars in regard to their future plans.
