Brittany Cartwright got dumped by her boyfriend, jax taylor, during Monday night's episode of "Vanderpump Rules" season six and after the show aired, she opened up about the split during an episode of the "Vanderpump Rules: After Show."

"I feel like I was the one who should've done... If it was going to come from anybody, it should've been from me," Cartwright explained to her co-stars, including Ariana Madix and Lala Kent. "[Jax] had already embarrassed me so much and then that part... I don't know, it was like a kick in the head. I don't even know what you would say.

It just seemed absolutely ridiculous," she continued.

Jax Taylor also reflected on their 2017 breakup, telling the cameras that he wasn't trying to upset Brittany Cartwright when he prompted their short-lived split. "I wasn't trying to piss her off. I just thought maybe it would be a good idea if we took a break, not that I wanted to but just to take a time out for a while to see if this is what we want and see if this is what you want," he said. "I don't want you to be here because you want this so bad and I want this so bad and it's just, we're forcing it. Let's take a breather, figure out what we did wrong for a little bit, or what I did wrong, for that matter, and reassess the situation," he suggested.

Taylor revealed his decision to Cartwright at their Los Angeles home and was immediately asked to vacate the home. That said, it was Cartwright who ended up storming out in tears.

Brittany Cartwright was betrayed by Jax Taylor twice

During an appearance on "The Daily Dish Podcast" earlier this week, Brittany Cartwright looked back on the months that followed her boyfriend's affair with Faith Stowers and said she never took any time for herself after he cheated.

As she explained, she still wanted Taylor around even though she felt betrayed by everything that happened.

Luckily, nearly one year after the affair took place, Cartwright says she and Jax Taylor are in a much better place. "I'm so much happier now," she said of their current relationship. "Everything's better."
