The latest updates and spoilers for "Deadpool 2" reveal new details on Juliane Dennison's possible character role in the movie. The "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" actor will play a young mutant who is a person of interest to Cable and wants to kill him the present timeline. Wade Wilson is caught in the middle of the conflict and he's forced to protect him by building his own, which is the film's version of "X-Force."

The sequel's director David Leitch, expressed his vision of seeing Deadpool teaming-up with Captain America in future projects as he told Fandango that it will be wonderful and interesting to see these two collide and interact with one another.

'The Kid's' identity revealed?

According to the "Deadpool 2" ticket advertising, Juliane Dennison's character name is "Russell" and Screenrant theorized that he could be Russell Collins, a.k.a. Firefist. He is a mutant that first appeared in the 1986's issue of "X-Factor 1" and he was created by Bob Layton and Jackson Guice.

Russell can generate flames from his hands and blast them at someone. He has been in several mutant teams such as the New Mutants, Acolytes, and the Mutant Liberation Front. Similar to his comic book counterpart, Dennison's character can also generate and throw fireblast at everyone, making him an unintentional public menace to everyone around him.

Cable travels to the present from the future to kill Russell to prevent a dangerous event from happening that created his timeline. Deadpool will assemble his own team consisting of Domino, Bedlum, and Shatter Star, along with "X-Men" members Colossus, Nega Teenage Warhead, and Shiori Katsuna's character is being rumored to be Surge.

Wade Wilson will also have to deal with the Mutant Response Division and the movie's main antagonist, Black Tom Cassidy.

Deadpool/Captain America team-up

"Deadpool 2" director David Leitch wanted to see a collaboration between the Merc with the Mouth and the First Avenger, Captain America in a future project. With Disney's dealings with Fox, comic book fans are hoping to see the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters merged with the Marvel Cinematic Universe to create new ideas and refreshing ideas.

"I think it'll be exciting for the fans. What I like about Deadpool is I think that the more you can put Deadpool in a box, the more he wants to push outside of it," Leitch said. "Who would he pair with? Captain America, that'd be pretty funny. I don't know."

For now, fans will be watching "Avenger: Infinity War" this week, while the Wade's second film will be in cinemas on May 18.
