When "Teen Mom 2" returns to MTV next month for the second half of season eight, fans will finally get to see David Eason's epic meltdown at the filming of the reunion special for last season in Los Angeles in October of last year. According to a report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup, producers have been sitting on the shocking footage of Eason stabbing several balloons with a knife for several months as they awaited the perfect moment to share it with their many viewers.
“[The show’s producers] have been planning to show [David Eason’s rampage since it happened,” a source told the outlet on April 10.
While the insider went on to reveal that producers would have normally included the shocking moment in the reunion special where it happened, they decided that it was such a juicy moment that they would save it for the new season.
When will the shocking scene air on MTV?
The report said that the footage that would air during the first few episodes of the upcoming "Teen Mom 2" would include moments that actually took place before the reunion special was filmed in October. Then, during the third or fourth episode of season 8B, David Eason's shocking moment would be featured. In addition to the moment when Eason goes crazy and stabs the balloon, viewers will also get to see the rest of the cast "freaking out" about their co-stars' behavior.
Meanwhile, Jenelle was seen attempting to make it clear that Eason was simply tangled up and trying to escape the set decor.
Jenelle Evans responds to the 'Teen Mom 2' footage reveal
After seeing The Ashley's Reality Roundup's story regarding the upcoming scenes with her husband, Jenelle Evans took to Twitter and complained about the fact that people are still talking about the reunion incident.
"Play it how it is, who cares?!" she tweeted. She also included the hashtag "let it go" before tweeting and deleting a second message. In the message, Evans told her fans and followers that she found it to be funny that people were unable to accept the fact that she's doing so well and feeling so happy. She then seemingly took aim at MTV, telling her fans and followers that the network plays old footage because they hate to see her doing good.
To see more of Jenelle Evans, David Eason, their family, and their co-stars, including Javi Marroquin, Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, Cole DeBoer, Leah Messer, Jeremy Calvert, and Briana DeJesus, tune in to the second half of "Teen Mom 2" season eight on Monday, May 7 at 9 p.m. on MTV.
