Kym Johnson Herjavec and her husband Robert Herjavec welcomed twins on Monday, April 23, 2018. It was no surprise that the couple would have a boy and a girl because that information was shared during a gender reveal ahead of the due date.

The 41-year-old Australian mother posted a photo on Instagram of Robert holding both babies. She said they are so much in love with their two little angels.

About the twins

The twins were born just one minute apart.

One was born at 7:44 a.m. and the other was born at 7:45 a.m. So far, there has been no notification if the girl or boy was born first or what their names are. Kym told People magazine that she has always wanted to be a mom, but she wasn't sure when it would happen.

After turning to IVF, the couple was able to start a family two years after they were married. The new mother joked that because she waited so long to have children, she had to double up.

The children are the first ones for Kym, but Robert has two daughters and a son with his ex-wife.

About the parents

It seems as though it was meant for Kym and Robert to get together.

The pro-dancer had been absent from "Dancing With The Stars" for four seasons. When she returned in 2015 for Season 20, she was partnered with the 55-year-old "Shark Tank" star. They connected to the delight of the show's viewers and confirmed what fans already suspected.

Robert proposed to Kym on February 27, 2016, and they got married on July 31, 2016, in Los Angeles, California.

In December 2017, they announced the pregnancy. Shortly afterward, the Herjavecs revealed they were expecting twins, and the babies would be a boy and a girl.

Kym has performed on the popular ABC reality show only once since dancing with Robert back in 2015. She returned in 2017 for Season 24 as a married woman to dance with Mr.

T. Now that she is a mother of twins, it is not certain when or if she will return to "Dancing with the Stars." She and Robert will certainly have their hands full with two newborns for now and much longer as the twins grow.

Kym and Robert are beaming with joy over their two babies. They call it a miracle about how they met and are now proud parents. They say they could not be happier.

Other relationships have been formed on "Dancing with the Stars" but none with a great love story as the one that Kym and Robert are still writing. Perhaps other relationships will be formed in the future. The dance competition show returns on ABC on April 30 for a four-week all athlete season.
